After teaching al-Hidayah and Jami al-Tirmidhi for a number of years Mufti Asghar Ali Rabbani noticed a strong connection between the ahadith in Jami al-Tirmidhi and Hanafi Fiqh. However, there was very little mention of this connection in Jami al-Tirmidhi. For this reason, Mufti Asghar Ali Rabbani decided to author this work Jami al-Tirmidhi Wa al-Madhab al-Hanafi. After each hadith the author mentions the stance of the Hanafi scholars along with the relevant references. Over 200 works of the Hanafi jurists are referenced in this 12-volume work.
