Mushkilat al-Quran

This work is predominantly in the Arabic language, but passages in the Persian language also appear throughout the work. The main objective of undertaking to write this work was to interpret only those verses of the Quran which are generally considered difficult to understand. Thus, while analysing these verses, Shah Sahib began by first discussing the opinions of some notable mufassirun and thereafter he gives his personal view. This work was published after the demise of Shah Sahib. Mawlana Ahmad Rada Bijnori edited the manuscript and included in the footnotes a list of all the sources Shah Sahib had cited. To do so Mawlana Ahmad Rada Bijnori had to read the entire manuscript and trace all the sources. Also includes Allama Yusuf Bannori's introduction to the work Yatimah al-Bayan.
