Tadwin Hadith

During the lifetime of the author, Abdullah Chakralwi who named himself and his followers Ahl al-Quran came about. These people rejected the Hadith and only believed in the Quran as authentic. To protect the educated youth and coming generations from this group, Mawlana Manazir Ahsan Gilani authored the following three works: Tadwin Fiqh, Tadwin Hadith and Tadwin Quran. In this particular book he proves that hadith was written down during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaihe wa salam, mentions incidents beginning from the time of the Sahabah about people who memorised the Hadith, the effort of the scholars to preserve the hadith and he answer the objections of the Hadith rejectors. This work is taught in a number of universities across Pakistan as part of the Masters degree.
